Your Faith Will Build Through Dreams

There's a very powerful scripture recorded in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. "...Eye hasn't seen, nor has ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit...".
One of the ways God has chosen to speak to you and build your faith is through dreams. Also the prophet Joel said that in the last days. "And it will about after this That I will pour out my Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions" (Joel 2:28).
One of the ways God's Spirit reveals things to us is through dreams. God has used dreams all through scripture. For example, in Genesis 15:5, it's recorded where God led Abram outside and told him to "look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them."
Then God said to him, "So shall your descendants be". So, God gave Abram a visual, from the stars, a dream that Abram could keep in front of him as a reminder of God's promise to him.
Then later in Genesis, chapter 37, the story of Joseph and how he received a dream from God. Joseph went and told his brothers the dream and the rest is history. His salvation was being able to interpret Pharaoh's dream for him.
So, God often uses dreams to get our attention or to increase our faith. There have been times God has used dreams in my life. The time He has, they haven't been forgotten. They've served as a constant reminder to me of what God was saying to me.

Your God given dreams are to be loved, cherished and nurtured. One of the roots of fear is lower level focus. The dreams God gives you helps you to maintain a higher level of focus toward faith, rather than a lower level focus leading you to fear.
Don't rush to the interpretation of your dreams. Ask and trust God to give you the interpretation. Realize in due time, your dreams will manifest into physical reality.
It is very important to be able to distinguish the source of your dreams. There are basically three sources for your dreams. You can have dreams that come out of your flesh. These can be due to anxieties or human desires you have. Or they could relate to something you've been focusing on.
You can have dreams that come from the demonic realm. These dreams are often dark. They'll may include snakes or cats. God once gave me a dream with snakes in it. Snakes usually mean the demonic realm. The dream God gave had snakes in it, to reassure and remind me of the authority I have in Him.
Then there's dreams from the Holy Spirit. These dreams can be in color or black and white. They are very clear and remain in your memory. He may give us dreams through the scriptures and the Holy Spirit. You may even have dreams while praying. Dreams from God are more vast and grand than dreams from our flesh or the demonic realm.
It's good to write down your dreams, as you may forget them over time. When you write them down, you'll be able to ask God for an interpretation. You'll have them to go back to as a reminder of what He promised or to look at them as you're given the interpretation.

Hope In God's Great Works

Always wait on God to give you great dreams. Hope and wait on God, knowing and believing He will give you very great and awesome dreams. Don't ever allow yourself to think and dream of your path as being negative and with no hope or future. God always has a future for you.
When we think there's no hope in front of us, God tells us there is hope. God will carry out great works in your life that you'll never be able to comprehend.
What is even greater, is that when we trust Him and cherish the great dreams He gives us, God will bestow miracles on us. It is this understanding that enables us to carry on with our lives. A life of hope, not despair.
We are told to focus on those things above not on those things that are below. As we focus on Him and the dreams He wants to give us, He will reveal great things. The key is to maintain your higher level focus and hold to your faith. As you do this, surrender your will to Him. The act of surrender, will immediately place you in the realm of God's favor.
Dream as if awesome and mysterious events are going to occur in your life. Don't even allow yourself to dream of hopelessness or that darkness will overtake your life. Remember your focus on that what you focus on expands.
Believe that you are gaining God's favor and He'll manifest His great works in your life. Always anticipate God's miracles. His miracles and favor follow His dreams. Just think of Abram and Joseph. Though it appeared Joseph, was suffering defeat, His trust in God allowed a great promotion to manifest in his life. As a result, of his promotion, his father and brothers had food during a famine.

Follow Your Dreams With Prayer

In order to achieve your dreams and see them appear in detail, you will need to follow them up with prayer. Pray that your dreams are God given dreams and not selfish dreams rooted in the flesh.
Another large help, along with prayer is fasting. One reason for fasting is to bring clarity. I know that the times I've fasted, I've had great clarity and very powerful answers to prayer.
When we fast, we show God that we're totally surrendered to Him, even to the point of denying our physical bodies food. Also when we fast, we're cutting ourselves loose from our own wills that declare that "I can do this on my own."
Fasting leads us to cut off our own strong wills. As a result, we learn to look to God and allow Him to do His good work in us or to manifest what He declared to us through a dream.
Keep on praying until you are sure, in the Spirit, that your dreams have already manifested. Often it takes time for a dream God has given us and we're believing in to manifest. Manifesting doesn't usually happen over night. Remember, a day is as a thousand years to the Lord and a thousand years as a day. When God says "soon", realize the "soon" is according to His timing, not ours.
You must take on the faith that enables you to be convinced that the thing God has promised you or told you has come to pass, though you don't seem to have it yet. You've probably heard the saying, "seeing is believing"? In the Kingdom of God the opposite is true. Believing is seeing.
Jesus charges us to think, see and believe the very thing that isn't visible.....yet. You must give all your heart and soul to the dream for which you are praying. Remember a double-minded person will receive nothing from the Lord.
You may be asking; "how long should I pray?" You should pray until the Holy Spirit gives you the answer, through the eyes of your heart, as He says to you, that "your prayer has been answered." This is the point that the faith seed of dreams produces fruit. For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Plant the faith seed of dreams. Watch God use your dreams and move you into deeper and deeper faith.
