We are now in a new year, 2016. Many of us are also procrastinators. We procrastinate in different areas of our life. Procrastination has its roots in fear. For example, we procrastinate in balancing a checkbook or paying bills. The underlying fear is the fear of lack or poverty.
We can procrastinate regarding asking a woman out on a date, seeking a new job, making a career decision, moving to a new city or state or even whether to follow God.
I've done my share of procrastinating. All of my procrastination was based in some way in fear. But there is something about fear, you and I need to remember. Fear is the great robber of time! You can't get time back, once its lost.

Let someone else speak regarding time being lost. The Rolling Stones came out with a song in 1974, from their album "It's Only Rock and Roll". (Yes, we can learn from rock song lyrics). The title of the song is "Time Waits For No One". Read the lyrics and ponder.
Yes, star crossed in pleasure the stream flows on by
Yes, as we're sated in leisure, we watch it fly
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman's face
Hours are like diamonds, don't let them waste
Time waits for no one, no favours has he
Time waits for no one, and he won't wait for me
Men, they build towers to their passing yes, to their fame everlasting
Here he comes chopping and reaping, hear him laugh at their cheating
And time waits for no man, and it won't wait for me
Yes, time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Drink in your summer, gather your corn
The dreams of the night time will vanish by dawn
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Yes, star crossed in pleasure the stream flows on by
Yes, as we're sated in leisure, we watch it fly
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Or you can let The Rolling Stones share this song with you. Overcome fear and step into faith so that your time won't be stolen.
